How the game works

The core loop

  1. 01BuildOil rigs, a Supply Depot and the Power Plant turn your outpost into a Cash machine.
  2. 02EarnEvery building adds income per second. Captured points add a bonus on top.
  3. 03UnlockUnlock a unit type once; each tent, garage, pad or dock keeps fielding it for free.
  4. 04CommandAUTO, FOLLOW ME, HOLD or BASE: send squads to capture lettered points across the island.
  5. 05PromoteReach HQ 5 and pay $75.0M to rebirth for +50% income and new units.

Raid AI rival bases, mix units inside every garage, airfield and dock bay, give radio quick orders, play Kill Race and Capture the Flag mini-events, and gift passes. Invasions now pay 80 Gold for taking part and 125 for a win.

About the game

What is Army Commander Tycoon?

Army Commander Tycoon is a Roblox tycoon published by the sad builderboy community. You start as a Lieutenant with a small outpost, build oil rigs and a Supply Depot for Cash, then field soldiers from tents and vehicles from garages, helipads, airstrips and docks.

Your army fights over lettered capture points on a shared island against other players and AI rivals with ranks of their own. Holding points pays a bonus, losing one costs you its income. When your HQ reaches level 5, you can promote: start again with a permanent income bonus and new units.

Official name in Roblox: “Army Commander Tycoon”. Not to be confused with Military Army Tycoon or War Commander Tycoon.

Rebirth is called Promotion. Open MORE → PROMOTE. The first promotion (Lieutenant → Captain) needs HQ level 5 (Command Citadel) and $75.0M. It resets buildings and Cash but gives +50% permanent income, 50 Gold and nine new units. Full promotion guide.
